🚨Major evolution of the European PPE regulation🦺 : emergency procedures applicable from May 29, 2026 📅

Regulation (EU) 2016/425 relating to personal protective equipment (PPE) 🦺 has been amended by the Omnibus Regulation 2024/2748 📜. These amendments will enter into force on May 29, 2026 ⏳.

💡 Inspired by the lessons learned from the pandemic, these new provisions introduce exceptional mechanisms for PPE during crisis situations:

🏭 Priority production orders

🚨 These measures are activated only when the Council of the EU declares an “Internal Market Emergency Mode”.
