Since January 2025, the standard NF EN 13795-1 has evolved, strengthening performance requirements for surgical drapes and gowns (microbial penetration, cleanliness, liquid resistance, etc.). The standards EN ISO 13938-1:2019 and EN ISO 9073-3:2023 related to resistance have also been updated.

Although a transition period is currently underway, all accredited laboratories will soon be required to adopt this new version.
